Round Hill Hotel and Villas

What it is.
The Ralph Lauren one. Round Hill sits on 110 acres in Hopewell, twenty minutes west of Montego Bay airport, with 36 hotel rooms and 27 villa cottages — most styled by Ralph Lauren himself, who owns one on property. The price matches the configuration: $46,249 a week puts it at the top of Jamaica's published band, ahead of Jamaica Inn, and the math only works for the villa product, not the standard rooms.
The property is family-friendly and explicitly multi-generational. Villas come with their own staff (cook, housekeeper, butler), private pools at higher tiers, and a structure closer to a private estate rental than a hotel stay. The hotel side runs as a conventional Caribbean property — beach, two restaurants, water sports — and is the weaker half of the booking.
What you're paying for: a multi-generational reunion configuration that doesn't have a real peer in Jamaica, with the closest-to-airport positioning in the country's premium tier. The trade-off is the per-person cost at standard occupancy — Round Hill makes sense as a 6-to-12-person villa buyout, not a couples' getaway. For the milestone family trip, the math works. For two people, the per-night is indefensible.
